Power of Purpose (POP) Donation to Pioneer Park Elementary Generates Funds for STEAM Supplies

Power of Purpose (POP) is excited to be a partner in education with the amazing schools in the Palm Beach County School District! The organization donated $2,000 to Pioneer Park Elementary School, kicking off the school’s 100% virtual STEAM Engine fundraiser on November 10. “The students were so excited and engaged, and couldn’t wait to participate!” said Sandra Moreau Oliver, the school’s Principal.

The administration was equally excited when POP Ambassador Chelsea Fredrickson dropped off boxes of prizes, including an Apple iPad, gift cards for students, and Amazon gift cards for the teachers. What is so special about
the Power of Purpose programs is that they’re all about inclusion. “There is no money required for the students to be rewarded with awesome prizes and giveaways! We want each student we reach to know that they are special, and that they have the power to help their school,” Fredrickson said.

The school’s STEAM Engine program is perfect for all students, whether they are learning virtually or in-person. Not only does the program raise well-deserved funds for the school, it also provides new S.T.E.A.M. supplies for their classrooms. The best part is that the team at Power of Purpose takes care of 90% of the work, with a turnkey and transparent process.

In addition to their $2,000 contribution to the schools that partner with them for the 2020-2021 school year, the organization has set a goal to raise $5 million for the Palm Beach County School District over the next five years.
